FTMFUND – query on Fund #

Effective Date – check the original date, press the down arrow if screen has been revised to see the original effective date. Original Effective Date MUST be on or before the budget start date.
Termination Date – federal awards should have a termination date 3 months after budget end. Non-federal awards should have a termination date of 2 months after the budget end.
Financial Manager – Fiscal Administrator’s name
Predecessor Fund – Sponsor’s name

FTMORGN – query on Index #

Financial Manager – Fiscal Administrator
Predecessor Organization – Sub department

FRIGITD - type the Grant # and check “Fund Summary” box or type in the Index # and Next Block

Budget - You will also want to check the Dashboard is correct after checking FRIGITD. Make sure the budget amount is correct and is allocated properly according to the award.

Select FOAPAL element to query: Organization, then Next Block
Type Index in the Organization Code box and execute query
The PI’s name should be shown, if it’s not, make a request to G&C. The PI will not be able to view their index in Dashboard without the subaccount PI name appearing here.

You can also use the FTIFATA screen to check if a Cost Share Index was created and linked to your grant index. To search for your Cost Share Index # by grant index number, query using Attribute Value.

To search by Cost Share Index in order to see what grant it is attributed to, reverse the query above by typing in the Cost Share index in Organization Code and then execute.

After verifying information in Banner, please log into the Dashboard and verify that the budget dates and budget amount/allocation are correct. If the budget was loaded in Banner with Activity Codes, this will have an effect on the appearance of the budget in Dashboard. Activity Codes will require G&C to carry forward balances from one budget year to another. The carryforward JVs will not be visible in Banner unless you look for them but they mean a great deal for award management in the Dashboard.
