Why is HRIS changing how new positions are being established? | Like many organizations within the HR industry, VCU HRIS has committed to remaining competitive and relevant with the implementation of artificial intelligence (as known as Ai). VCU HR has partnered with Wonderbotz, a business automation company, to create solutions that will help merge both the human and machine elements of our internal processes. |
What is the normal turnaround time for position establishment requests processed through this automated system? | Position establishment requests will be processed twice a day at 10 AM and 2PM. Upon successful establishment, requestors will receive an email notifying them of the information associated with the new position (position number and details). |
How are errors in the process identified and communicated? | If an error occurs in processing the position establishment - an automated email is sent to the original requestor with details regarding the incorrect information that needs to be edited. The requestor then has the ability to return to the original form and make changes. |
I can only enter one index on the JotForm. It says to enter the primary index, but two of my indexes are set at the same percentage. Which index do I put? | You can enter any one of your indexes into the JotForm. The Job Labor Distribution will be updated when HRIS receives the paperwork with the complete list of indexes and percentages. |
How do I update data that has already been submitted through the request form? | HRIS will verify that position data matches what is on the Talent custom fields when keying paperwork. Please verify that the position data fields on Talent custom fields is correct so HRIS can update Banner accordingly. |
