Position Established 
(NBAPOSN)

A position has to be defined in Banner to be able to assign an employee to a position.

Person Identification 
(PPAIDEN)

Establishes a unique ID number (VID) for each individual in the system. This page captures basic biographic information about an individual both employees and students, as this page is shared across the university.

Employee Form
(PEAEMPL)

Establishes employee information, including employee type, service dates, leave and benefit categories, and if the employee is active or terminated.

Employee Job Forms
(NBAJOBS)

Matches an employee with a position, by assigning the jobs position number to the employee. Maintains information on a job as defined for a specifies employee, including number of positions held by the employee, job titles, start and end dates, status, FTE and salary information. Allows future-dated changes to be entered for the job information.

Benefit Deductions
(PDADEDN)

Use to assign and maintain deductions for benefits and taxes. Allows for future updated plan changes.
